That's great that you've lost 8 lbs and pescatarian is a healthy way to go! Exercise will definitely help because it speeds up your metabolism and also the beauty of exercise is that it helps increase your body's resting metabolism so you can be sitting in a chair still and be burning fat and calories! After a good exercise session your body's metabolism will stay up for a while, a few hours, so if you eat a large meal soon after you exercise your body will be like a furnace, so you can enjoy eating and not worry about it slowing your progress down!
I miss exercise and getting out and walking, my health issue with my belly problems have about done me in! I've improved quite a bit since taking protein powder, it's still slow but I'm feeling better and I'm able to do more around the house! I still can't eat normally everyday though!
🤗 Eating fish, especially salmon is really healthy and good for you because of the omega 3 fats! Those fats are good for the brain and nourish the brain! Add a good quality avocado oil to your diet too! 1 to 3 tablespoons daily or every other day of a good quality organic unrefined cold pressed extra virgin avocado oil for the good fats and avocados to your diet as well, that's even better, you can cut up avocados in salads!
That kind of avocado oil I mentioned sounds like a mouthful but it's the healthiest because it's the first pressing of the oil and cold pressing doesn't use chemicals to extract the oil and its all natural, especially from organic avocados! Paying attention to the source of where the oil comes from and the extraction method is important! It's a bit more costly but in the long run, your health and your body will thank you!
Organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil is another good one to add to your diet too, either one of these are good oils, I prefer avocado oil because it has a higher smoke point than olive oil! You can fry with avocado oil at high temperatures but olive oil will burn at those high temperatures!
Another good one is organic coconut oil too, that has the highest smoke point! Coconut oil is probably the most versatile oil on the planet! You can cook, fry and bake with coconut oil! It can also be used as skin moisturizer and a hair conditioner for dry hair! A good thing about coconut oil is that it's inexpensive 🙂 all of these oils are available on Amazon and I give the links if you're interested! But organic coconut oil is available in grocery stores too, Harris Teeter or foodlion has it!
But I thought I would share this information about cooking oils with you since how you cook and prepare food is important too, just like what you decide to eat and put into your body is important! I got curious one day and decided to search for "what's the healthiest oils to eat and cook with" and I got a lot of information! The most unhealthy is canola oil because it's made with chemicals and soybean, corn and vegetable oils are made with GMO corn and soy, so the source of where the oil comes from it important! Now if you can find organic soybean, corn and vegetable oils now that's different, because they are supposed to be GMO free and chemical free!🙂
